Michelle P. Foxman
Michelle P. Foxman advises high net worth individuals in all areas of divorce conflict, including negotiating prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, complex asset division, spousal and child support, and child custody and access. Michelle’s experience as a commercial litigator at some of Manhattan’s most elite law firms informs her highly creative “leave no stone unturned” approach to all matrimonial disputes. Specifically, Michelle’s experience as a commercial litigator is invaluable when she is called upon to both enforce or overturn prenuptial agreements, where she has achieved success at the trial court level. Michelle is a fearless advocate at every stage in litigation for her clients, who appreciate her unique blend of empathy and humor as she navigates them through a challenging time.
Ms. Foxman began her career out of law school at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, and later practiced at the litigation boutique Selendy Gay Elsberg. Ms. Foxman was most recently affiliated with Cohen Clair Lans Greifer & Simpson where she practiced exclusively matrimonial law. Michelle earned her J.D. , magna cum laude, from New York University School of Law where she was elected to Order of the Coif and was an editor of the Journal of International Law and Politics. Michelle earned her B.A. cum laude in Comparative Religion from Columbia College.
Michelle is admitted to practice in New York and lives in Manhattan, where you can almost certainly find her attending a Broadway musical or taking an Olympic weightlifting class. Ms. Foxman has three grown children , who are without a doubt, her best work to date.
